Vivint Kids Bike/Run Race

Brett and Dantzel were part of a kids race today. Heidi was in charge, and it turned out great. Brett loved it so much and keeps talking about it. They did a duathlon bike/run. Two loops around the courtyard on bike and one loop run.

Ready and excited for the big race!!

Dantzel numbered and ready for the toddler walk/crawl.

Ready to go.

Sizing up the competition. Actually he was just looking around at all his friends.

Go buddy, go.

Dantzel walk/crawling...never made it to the finish line. Too many distractions.

Refuel table. Great job Brett, we are so proud of you.

Refueling from all of her hard work. haha, way to go baby.

Our Week in Idaho

The kids and I left California for a week break in Idaho. It was so nice to see family and friends and get spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa. Hailee had her baby shower while we were there too! Mom, Hailee and I stayed up late every night doing crafts, games and talking.
Brett mowed the entire lawn with grandpa. I offered to take him after a few rows, but they ignored me.

Wagon ride. Dantzel was so tickled with it!!

Pretty girl.

Tired Hails, from staying up late every night. She made a perfect parking lot for Brett's cars.

Brett sneaking in to the baby shower for a cookie!

Dantzel thinking the party was for her!

First pig tails...ahhh so cute.

Staying up late eating popcorn with grandpa.

Brett can only throw the basketballs about halfway up the chute, but he loves it, he doesn't care if it never goes in the basketball hoop. What a sweetie. I love his innocence.

Livin' the life.

Brett and Dantzel

Brett spends a lot of time at the dishwasher. There is a small bump (so small you can't even see it on the picture) that he rides his trucks and motorcycles over. He is so focused during this activity and I love to see the gears turning in his head. I would love to know what he is learning by watching the wheels go over the bump, over and over and over and over.

Dantzel has learned to crawl and is really exploring. She is finally playing with the things she has had here eye on for a while now, like door stoppers. She has found all of them in our house and "boings" them a lot. She loves to play with the toys Brett is playing with, then he hits her because she is stealing his toy and then he gets a time out. Poor guy, we are learning.
